Our attorney, Anand Dash (Partner at Kennedy’s Law Firm), recently joined Chris DeBello on Issues and Ideas Radio to discuss a troubling land use situation in Andover Township.

The short version:

Two recent ordinances (2025-15 and 2026-08) quietly made data centers a “permitted use” in town without ever including them in Andover’s master plan. Anand explains why this looks like illegal spot zoning (tailoring rules for one specific property and developer) and why it bypasses the fair, transparent process residents deserve.

What happens next?

Anand has asked the Township to rescind both ordinances by May 7th and hold real public discussions. If they don’t, legal action will follow in Sussex County Superior Court.
